Dropping off:

Park the vehicle in the compound do your checks, sign in at the office and wait normally space for 3 drivers, do not go into the office early or ask any other staff to sign you out. The public transport is poor. To get to Leicester station is approximately 45 minutes on public transport bus number 104 every half hour doesn't always show up on Google the stop is opposite Emersons.
 Swift taxis: 0116 2628222  will charge you £10 to the station takes around 15 minutes.

Collections:

Same procedure as above, I walk from the train station to Clock Tower, Haymarket, Leicester around 10 minute walk Catch the 104 bus to Thorpe Astley and get off outside Fire station. Hanson Taxis next to train station will charge you £10 or alternatively call Swift taxis, the black cabs from the station can charge you anything from £15 to£20.

A remote site, do not follow Google maps , it will send you to Bottersford and then a Taxi, unfortunately there are only a couple of taxis and the first time I used them charged me over £25.

Best route is to get to Grantham Train Station, you can share taxi with other drivers from there or use Grantham Taxis 07841343848 charged me £18.

Make sure you have your Hi Viz on and prepare yourself for a long haul, the security guys are nice but the rest of the staff are arrogant especially the ones on the counter, you will be given an envelope to give to the key office, and told a lane number, which is non existent, best to ask other Logistic drivers who are useful,. A famous location for cars not found etc. There are other drivers leaving the place, nearest fuel station is about 3 miles away Esso.

This is a remote site on a farm, I took the train to Elsenham and bus Number 7a and got off at the church in Henham, there is a sign for Lodge Farm and as you walk down the path you will see the Auxillis sign , follow the single path lane for over a mile and you will see the buildings on the left. The staff are very friendly.
The shopkeeper outside Elsenham station has phone numbers for local taxis, recommend if the weather is bad.

Best route is a train to Colchester Town, walk round the corner and get either Bus number 97 or X76, when boarding the X76 let the driver know that you are going to the Auction site and they will drop you outside the main gate.

Walk to the Reception area and see the cashiers who will give you the envelope with documents and spare keys and a pass out with vehicle details.Walk through to the Key office who will give you the main key and the location of the vehicle, do your checks and drive to the barrier they will check the boot and details and let you out.

Get a train to Habrough normally via Doncaster, book a taxi at Donaster giving the driver your eta: Micks Taxi 01469 571159 they will be waiting at Habrough station car park and take you right outside the reception. There are buses as well but this is my preference as it saves me time.

Report at reception they will bring the vehicle out to you do your checks and get signed off at Reception , you will need to give the exit pass at security.

Train to Sheerness you can either walk to the site the vehicles are near the export section around a mile and a half, or take a taxi from outside the station around £6, they will drop you near the Gefco security hut, make sure you have your HI-Viz if the documents are there they will point you to the lane, if not you will have go to the office window(only room for one person). There is a canteen next door and toilets.
Once you have done your checks the Gefco security will stamp your paperwork and you show this at the main Exit where they may ask you to open the boot of your vehicle.

The staff are courteous and helpful.

Drive down to the security gates, take right turn and have your hazards on go right down to the bottom past cartwrights and the mobile cafe, you will see some white tents and some staff they will direct you to which lane to park. Do your checks they will not sign you off. Make sure you have your hazard vest on and walk to the gates, there are drivers who will give you a lift out if not then share a  taxi to nearest civilization do not follow google and go to the village for the bus as it only runs once a week.  Swift Taxis 0116 262 8222

Collections:

Get to the security gates and in front is the main Manheim Auctions, turn left and walk across to the Manheim Collections office, go inside to the main desk and give the details, they will give you an envolope with spare keys and v5 and ask you to wait near the barrier for your car to arrive. If there is no fuel at all, open your bonnet and ask the chap in the office for some fuel, they will put 5 ltrs and that will get you to the village for some fuel. Do your checks and go back to the office he will sign you off and give you a pass to give to security guys.

This is a dis used air field and can be quite traumatic as some of the guys do not speak English. The Security Guys are helpful. 

There is a canteen and toilets at the auction site.

Do not follow post code  as it will take you a couple of miles away, the place is poorly sign posted. It is on the same side as Akbars Resturant and about 500 yards away.

Take the train to Meadow Hall Interchange get the bus X78 from stand c2 the bus stop is across the road aroud 100 yards.

The place is very regimental and in-flexible, when you confirm the vehicle you will be given a specific time in my instance it was between 3 pm and 4.30 pm, there were drivers waiting outside one person had been there since 1.30 pm, when they say 3 pm it is one minute past three, there is no shelter for you to wait under and they refused one driver to use the facilities, however 3 ladies came for a collection and they left with their vehicles within minutes. The gate person will give you a check list and a number on a sheet, you walk or march down to a unit where you meet a really nice gentleman who will give you the keys and ask you to check the vehicle,once he has checked your paperwork you drive up to the gate and return the yellow sticker and get signed off. one of the staff there told me they have a policy of " Do not speak unless you have been spoken too.." There is enough fuel to get you to the nearest petrol station.

An experience you will want to delete from your brain asap..

Get off at Harwich International station , no taxis or buses a brisk half mile walk to IT fleet, poorly marked go past DSV and you will see a car park with a small sign IT Fleet. A couple of the guys are helpful and a couple not so helpful, a massive car park they will give you the keys and a row number which you can barely see, bring the vehicle to the front, do your checks they will do their own and take pictures. Make sure you are wrapped up warm. You will be glad to leave the place.

Train to Church Fenton you can either walk to it if it's a nice day, buses are every couple of hours, if you call them from the station they might send a driver out to pick you up. I tend to use Flyer Taxis 07851144249 call them before you get to church Fenton station and they'll be waiting outside a flat rate of £7.

Check your vehicle and they will calculate how many miles to your drop off and give you enough fuel .

Get off the train at Dagenham Dock station, walk down Chequers Lane approximately 500 yards and you will see Ford Vans and cars parked, knock or shake the silver gates and they will let you in, there are no bells or intercom. You will need C21 for the release of the vehicle, they are really nice people and will help you. Low fuel enough to get you to a petrol station.

The compound is 8 miles from Stratford upon Avon train station, there are taxi's outside if you are pushed for time, bus number 3 takes you to the gates of the business park and then it's half a mile walk.

You will need a C21 for the car to be released, if there are other drivers waiting then collect a ticket and your number will be called, you will be given the location of the car and if fuel is to be added it will say so on the key tag, they will only give you 10 ltr. Check the vehicle  as these are wrapped and not washed.

Quite a tricky exit.

Out in the sticks, I get the train to Newbury station walk up the ramp and and get the bus 103a (runs once every hour) charges £1 and if you tell the driver you are going to Marshall Paint and repair centre he will drop you outside. If you are pushed for time you can get taxi's from outside the station.
Give the details of the car you collecting and they will give you the keys and where it is parked (across the road in a massive car park) make sure you know which row its in. I dealt with a lady called Lisa and she is good person. Cars are already fulled for your destination.

Drive up to the security gate, he will give you instructions but very vague, drive to the top turn left into the yard, youll see lots of cars parked to the left, do your checks, take the keys back to the little shed, get signed off and walk down to the gates, I normally order a taxi while I'm walking Albetros: 01332 345345, its around £5 to the station, if the weather is good then a walk or buses, my preference is a taxi saves time. 

Collecting: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm

The PDI centre is next to the security gates, ask for Mike (Nice person). do your checks, make sure all the kit is in the car, call the PDI team and they will ask you questions on the condition of the car, be honest mine wasn't cleaned so they asked me to get it washed. They will give you a release code which you have to give to Mike, DO NOT leave without this authorisation.

This is a remote site on an airfield, do not get this site mixed up with BCA, who are at the front of the Estate, SMH is a good 2 mile walk from there. If you are collecting from here the best way is to get a Taxi from Bedford station Best one I found is: Skyline Taxis 01234261919 £13 to Bedford station or from Bedford station to SMH                    

The collecting times are very strict so make sure you have confirmed your car, and they will shut exactly on time stipulated , so even if you are 5 minutes late they will not release the car. I normally deal with Colin and he is a nice person.

If you are dropping off it's the same place, there are other drivers collecting and yhere is a good chance of a lift out.
There is a canteen across the place if you have to wait.

Train to Adwick, walk( 15 minute walk) out of the station turn right walk past car dealers on the left, walk over the bridge and before the traffic light is Carcroft Industrial Estate, the security guys are nice people, will direct you to Clarks around 5 minutes walk. At reception they will ask you for vehicle details, and takes around 10 minutes to bring it to the front for you. There will be little fuel in it just enough to get you to the filling station a mile away, so don't keep the engine running. Once you have done your checks and made sure that all the kit is in, get signed off at Reception.

You can get a bus from Doncaster Interchange from stand number 9a bus number 50 going to Skellow, the drop off is around 2 minutes from Carcroft Enterprise Park
